The vision here was an interactive digital art piece where the viewer can superimpose themselves with the artist's creations. These creations exposed viewers to the Tagalog language through the interplay of visual art, digital media, interactivity, and poetry.
What emerges from our psyche when we're exposed to a large amount of stimuli?
I often find myself overstimulated by the world around me, and something as simple as an uncomfortable conversation can cause extreme anxiety and nervousness.
To answer this question and to simulate how I experience the world, I created this interactive art piece.
Not one to shy away from notions of identity, I sought to integrate words to create a multimodal experience to help others understand my own struggles with identity, given my experiences with being autistic, having ADHD and OCD, and being queer, nonbinary, and Filipino American.
